GADA's member, Karen Dales, enrolled GADA to participate in the lighting of sails event at Canada Place. The Canada Place Sails of Light, are illuminated each evening from dusk to dawn, with seasonal vibrant colors, displays and animation.
On November 18, 2016, the Sails of Light were lit red in support of Marfan Awareness Week and GADA Canada. GADA is thankful to the Port of Vancouver for helping to spread awareness of Marfan syndrome and all other related genetic aortic disorders.
